Back in February, Natracare became the first Brand with MADE SAFE™ certified pads, tampons, maternity pads and nursing pads. This is a new certification to show which products are made with ingredients that are safe for you, and when you look at what’s in a regular pad or tampon you realise just why the MADE SAFE™ certification is important.

Natracare products are made with 75-100% renewable and sustainable materials, and they are over 90% biodegradable and compostable. This means they are much better for the environment as they do not add to overflowing landfill sites, and considering almost every person who has periods can use around 11,000 pads and tampons in their lifetime there are lot sent to landfill.
Not only are they biodegradable, Natracare products also use bioplastics made from plant starch in their products, rather than plastic made from crude oil which is not only harmful to you, it is also harmful to the planet.
