Biodynamic

Biodynamic farming is a form of organic farming that goes a step further, it uses the seasons, the phases of the moon and planetary constellations to guide sowing, planting and harvesting. The moon is renowned for influencing tides, but lesser known, it also influences moisture content in the earth and also plant grown potential. The moon creates a biodynamic calendar, dictating when natural maximum output could be achieved, and biodynamic farming is linked to this.

Biodynamic agriculture avoids all chemical pesticides and fertilisers with a similar philosophy to more conventional farming, and uses herbal and mineral compounds as fertilising alternatives, which add various natural benefits. This method of farming is a holistic approach, aiming to nurture the soil and the life within it, achieving maximum nourishment for roots, creating healthier plants and crops.
