Every single spring operates independently, which means that every inch of the mattress responds to the contours of your body, offering support in just the right places.

We've chosen these Abaca Organic Pocket 1000 Mattresses because they have been so thoughtfully made and beautifully finished. A dense spring base is covered in organic cotton, then a layer of 1000gsm organic wool, and then another layer of 500gsm organic wool. The whole mattress is finished with a lovely, organic, unbleached white cotton cover. The mattress provides exceptionally fine spinal support, too. Because each spring operates independently, it responds closely to the contours of your body, giving you support in all the right places.

The spring base is first wrapped in a layer of 1000gsm organic wool, then another layer of 500gsm organic wool, and finally a sumptuously soft organic cotton twill cover (undyed and unbleached, of course).
