A traditional geometric design adds to the appeal of this hand-woven rug. Three generations of craftsmen work on these particular rugs. They begin with hand-spun wool from Bikaner, on the far side of the Great Thar desert, which is then hand-dyed with natural colours and left to dry in the sun until the weavers are ready to come and collect it before beginning the long weaving process. All rugs are 80% wool woven on weft threads of strong 20% cotton.
