The BRITA MAXTRA filter cartridge uses a mixture of ion exchange resin and activated carbon to reduce hardness, chlorine and other impurities to improve the taste, smell and appearance of hot and cold drinks. 

The BRITA MAXTRA Filter Cartridge can be used with the BRITA Elemaris Cool White Filter Jugs (see item 18128) and the BRITA Marella Cool White Filter Jugs (see item 18129).
