This Butterfly Food is great for attracting pollinating butterflies to your garden and is particularly effective when used with our Butterfly Habitat Feeder (see product 18269).

This Butterfly Food has been laboratory formulated by specialists using a blend with added essential vitamins. It is suitable for wild butterflies and moths.

Instructions for use:

• Set up time: Spring onwards
• Dosage: Mix one rounded teaspoon with 100ml water until fully dissolved.
• Pour mixture onto food sponge or butterfly feeder (colour is an important factor in attracting butterflies to the feed).
• Mixture can be kept in the fridge for up to 7 days.
• Food sponge or feeder should be ideally washed daily or at a minimum every 3-4 days.

Butterflies are beautiful and delicate garden insects; all have very different life spans and habitat requirements. Growing certain plants, such as Buddleia, Nettles, Asters, Sunflower, Violets and Snapdragons can also help attract butterflies into your garden.
