These fantastic Doy Bags are made from recycled foil juice packs, by a women's cooperative in the Philippines. They make really funky shoppers and are a great alternative to disposable plastic bags.

Women’s Cooperative

The cooperative's primary aim is to promote 'creative recycling' by finding ways of reusing materials that would otherwise go into landfill sites and incinerators.

The cooperative is proud to be giving a livelihood to more than 500 disadvantaged women and their families, and provides a number of additional benefits such as profit sharing, a weekly rice ration and an education scholarship programme.

Doy Bags are produced and traded according to fair trade principles.
