Ecover Non-Bio Laundry Liquid gives exceptional washing results, even at low temperatures using no optical brighteners and is suitable for all white and coloured laundry. It has a fresh aroma from plant-based ingredients.

For whites: for optimal results on whites follow the above instructions and add Ecover Bleach (11241).

Ecover Non-bio Laundry Liquid is also great for hand washing. Just dissolve 1½ capfuls (45 ml) in 5 litres of warm water. Wash and rinse your clothes as normal.

Packaging materials
Bottle and labels are made of polyethylene; cap of polypropylene. Polyethylene and polypropylene are 100 % recyclable and can be recycled together using a low energy process.

What are optical brighteners?
Most conventional detergents contain an optical 'brightener.' This is a chemical that reflects light, making your clothes and linens look brighter than they really are. Optical brighteners make an irreversible chemical bond with the skin and exposure is more or less permanent as we are always in contact with some kind of material. Ecover do not use optical brighteners in any of their laundry detergents. In addition to the problems they cause to skin they do not increase the washing effect, nor the hygiene of your wash.
