One more reason to order? 5% of your purchase goes towards an orphanage and a school in Indonesia - the makers of this furniture range had been sourcing wood and skills from Indonesia for some time when they encountered a private orphanage near one of their suppliers. Lack of funds meant that children were sleeping on the ground. The supplier, whose business was only possible thanks to the people in the local community, made a commitment there and then. Today, 5% of all profits are returned to Indonesian communities. Their wholesale wooden furniture has paid for a minibus, bedding, school equipment and food for able and less able children in the area.

All the teak wood used for this furniture is certified sustainable reclaimed wood from Java, Indonesia. The supplier is accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council - so you can sit even more comfortably on your new furniture!
