Deter (without killing) slugs from eating your precious greens with our new wool pellets. When sheep get shaved to produce fleeces for the textile industry some of the fleece is too dirty or knotted to be used for clothing. This waste wool is taken and put into an extruding machine, where it is forced through small cavities to produce pellets of wool. These pellets can then be sprinkled around your plants and the woollen fibres on the surface make it uncomfortable for the slugs’ foot to travel across, physically deterring the slugs rather than killing them. The slugs can then go elsewhere to feed. The pellets gradually biodegrade, fertilising your plants as they contain naturally occurring nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, and provide an effective mulch and compost.
