When the makers of these recycled belts met with the London Fire Brigade they instantly recognised the potential of the old, disused fire hose to make a great eco product. They scrubbed away all the soot, grease, and everything else that builds up after 25 years of active duty, and in the process discovered a truly remarkable, truly green textile.

After a long search for a UK based buckle maker willing to use recycled pewter, the belts were born, making a perfect accessory for the ultimate eco outfit. And what’s more.. in order to thank the London Fire Brigade they have committed to giving 50% of their Fire-Hose profits to the LFB Benevolent Fund.

Detailing includes fine stitched edging in white and a heavy plaque buckle made in the UK with 100% reclaimed pewter. This has a slimmer profile than some of our other belts, it is 3cm wide.
