A classic organic Italian wine, powerful, complex, a full bodied red wine obtained from hand picked, selected, organically grown Montepulciano grapes from vineyards located in Abruzzo.
This wine is made using 100% organically grown hand picked Montepulciano grapes. Once pressed the grapes and fermented in steel vat at controlled temperature the wine is then put for 6 months in 10 Hl oak barrel and another 6 months in bottle. The result is a wine with a deep ruby colour with a nose of black fruits and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth the wine has a pleasant taste of red fruits and a long lasting aftertaste.
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo the grape is often used to make very commercial wines but there are a circle of producers that make a very special Montepulciano. The vineyards of Jasci e Marchesani lie on the hills of Vasto Abruzzo facing the Adriatic sea.
