The Razorpit® uses a unique friction technology to clean and sharpen your razor blades, making them last up to 150 shaves longer than they would without it. Shaving with a blunt razor is not a pleasant experience by anyone’s standards. The Razorpit® cleans away microscopic dirt, made up of dead skin cells and hair, to give your razor many months more life and resulting in less waste created by disposable razors and this saves you money too!
To use:
• Simply apply a layer of shaving foam on the horizontal surface
• Press the blade of the razor itself down onto the soft surface. This must be done with a constant pressure onto the silicone-surface.
• Push the razor against the conventional shaving direction while maintaining the pressure on the silicone-surface. This will ensure contact between the mat and the blades, thereby cleansing the dirt and residue off the surface
• Push the razor over the mat 3 to 4 times.

I got it in October of 2011. It's now March 2012 and I'm still on the same (3 blade) razor.
I've already bought several of these for friends and family.
My only wish is that they do one without the two end bits so that it's easier to put in my wash bag for when travelling.
