Trees For Life

Trees for life are an organisation wholeheartedly dedicated to restoring the Caledonian Forest, an area that once covered vast areas of Scotland.  Today, just 1% of the original forest remains, still home to a wide variety of trees and wildlife.  Trees for Life anually plant over 100,000 trees in protected areas and develop and sustain trees in the forest, collecting seeds and propagating young trees and rare woodland plants.  Trees for Life aim to restore a wild forest, a home for wildlife and a fulfillment of the ecological functions necessary for the wellbeing of the land itself.
