Abeego food wraps are a great eco-friendly way to keep food fresher for longer, made from sustainable hemp and certified organic cotton with a wax coating made up of tree resin, jojoba oil and beeswax. The antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-fungal coating prevents mould while allowing the food to breathe and age naturally. It is very malleable at room temperature and can adhere to any solid food or container, it will become stiff and hold its new shape once in the fridge.
Wash your Abeego in cold water – if you use warm water some of the beeswax will rub off. When cared for properly, your Abeego can last over a year, and don’t be alarmed if you find any stains, as it is a cloth material staining is likely but will not affect performance. Please note that tree resin and beeswax are soluble in alcohol so use alcohol free dish soap to wash your Abeego, then dry with a towel or hang over a dish rack.
Abeego is not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave oven, direct heat or high temperatures.
This pack contains two large Abeegos food wraps (33 x 33cm).

In 2008 Toni Desrosiers invented Abeego, the original beeswax wrap on two founding principles. Firstly, it’s logical. It breathes. Living food is naturally wrapped in a breathable rind or skin - Abeego does the same! Secondly, it looks good, feels good, smells good and fosters a healthier relationship with food.
100% natural, every ingredient used to make Abeego wraps comes from the earth and will return to it. Abeego is zero waste. Their waste free commitment means they make amazing twist ties and fire starters with any excess. Beeswax is valuable so they make Abeego wraps durable and long lasting. You’ll add to your collection before replacing tired wraps. Abeego uses minimal energy to produce their wraps. Primarily people powered, except their waxing machine that has tripled their output using the same amount of energy.
