It's versatile and deliciously satisfying with a delicate smoky and nutty flavour makes it perfect for pilafs, side dishes and soups and it packs a nutritional punch. Cooking in just 15 minutes, this clever little grain can help create many quick meal solutions and is a great alternative to rice, couscous and bulgur wheat.

About Artisan Grains
Developed in 2012 by enthusiastic foodie Sam Jacobi, who with 20 years experience in the health food trade was frustrated at the limited range of grains on the market and the lack of information available on the packaging – he wanted to be inspired at the point of purchase with recipe ideas and serving suggestions without having to resort to Google!
Sam set about developing a core range of grains and ‘good-for-you’ ingredients to offer consumers variety and convenience with packaging carefully designed to be impactful, informative and inspiring with recipe suggestions and nutritional facts.
Artisan Grains believe that natural foods form the basis of healthy living, striving to introduce more consumers to healthy eating grains, seeds and pulses and to demystify, educate and encourage use.
