BBC Earth and People Tree have come together to create a range of stylish clothes and tote bags themed around ocean conservation. This tote bag is not only a great way to cut out single-use plastics from your shopping trips, but it also comes with some stylish artwork of the gentle green sea turtle. Green sea turtles are currently on the endangered species list; partly because of plastic pollution and irresponsible fishing.
The material used is free from all plastic and is made up of 100% organic cotton. Every tote bag is produced within a fair trade environment by a hard-working cooperative. Their skills are met with a fair wage, ethical treatment and an occupation that can provide sustainability for them and their families.
