This eco-friendly runner not only brightens up any hallway but also excels at trapping up to 95% of dirt, dust, and mud, ensuring your floors stay clean. Suitable for use throughout your home, it can absorb up to three times its weight in water, helping to prevent slips on wet floors. When it gets dirty, simply wash it at 30°C to restore its fresh look. Soft and cosy, this runner is also ideal for protecting your feet from cold tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom during the winter months. The Hug Rug mats are made up of three different layers all using 100% recycled materials. The tufts are made from recycled cotton and microfibres and are bonded to the flexible, anti-slip, rubber backing – made from recycled industrial plastics – by an extra tough fibre membrane made from recycled plastic bottle lid tops.
Hug Rugs work hard to make their rugs as environmentally friendly as possible. Each year they recycle:
- Over 6.5million T-Shirts to use in the cotton tufting
- Over 16million plastic bottles to create the extra tough membrane
- Over 190 tonnes of recycled industrial plastics to use in the backing
- Over 2.5million litre of water to run the mills
Plus their mills in Yorkshire are ZERO WASTE to landfill!

Manufactured and designed in Yorkshire, UK. Recyclable at the end of its life.
Packaging includes a recycled cardboard header, and are rolled up in a recycled plastic bag to keep the rug clean and together during storage and delivery.

Manufactured in the UK at a plant approved by the Carbon Trust and keeps carbon mileage to a minimum.
