Ecoegg Laundry Egg - 54 Washes
The award winning Laundry Egg is a natural detergent breakthrough as it is a complete replacement for washing detergent. Just pop it in the drum of your washing machine – no powder, liquid, tablets or gels required. The two types of mineral pellets inside the egg get to work, producing powerful – but natural – cleaning foam which powers through the fibres lifting off the dirt and grime. Independently, laboratory proven to perform just as well as regular detergent, our innovative Laundry Egg is a real alternative to harsh chemicals – giving great long lasting results, naturally. Supported by Allergy UK and the National Eczema Society, the Laundry Egg is dermatologically tested and perfect for even the most sensitive skin. Your clothes don’t need a rinse cycle because the Ecoegg doesn’t leave any residue. It lasts 54 washes too, saving you time and money.

I was hestitant at first about this product, as used to liquid or flakes in the draw. I read the instructions and took the plunge on a 40 mixed clothes wash. Brilliant. Like the leaflet says it doesn't do well with higher temperatures, which it doesn't. But stick to the 40 wash and its ace.

Q: Understood that a low temperature is best, but can you recommend which setting to use otherwise?
A: Hi there, Many thanks for your query. The Eco Egg Laundry Egg works very well in washes up to 60 degrees Celsius and just as well in cold water washes. The natural mineral water pellets are not intended to be used in washes that are higher than 60 degrees Celsius. I hope this helps. Kind regards,

A: Good Afternoon, The manufacturer has been back in touch and informed me that the EcoEgg works best on everyday stains and heavier staining may require a pre or in-wash stain remover. I hope this helps.
