Like the look; unfortunately I cannot buy this kind of trouser because they’re designed for much taller people. It is frustrating but I know the proportions will be all wrong. I am 5’1” and feel sure these “cropped” trousers will be a normal trouser length on me- if I’m lucky - and the tapering effect will be lost. I’m fed up, anyway, with having to shorten garments. Men’s are offered in a wide range of sizes; why not women’s? It is sexist to assume that any woman will be able and willing to spend her valuable time measuring, cutting and stitching to customise a “ready-made” garment.rn
