Supportive yoga leggings from People Tree with reinforced seam detailing and in-seam pockets, perfect for storing your phone or wallet. The fabric is thick making them super comfortable and non see-through allowing you to exercise and stretch with ease. The full length leggings are made from 95% GOTS and Fair Trade certified organic cotton and 5% elastane for that extra bit of comfort making them also great for lounging around the house.
Assisi Garments spins organic cotton at their recently opened Spinning factory in India. The organic cotton and the supply chain is Fairtrade and GOTS certified. Set up by Franciscan nuns, it started by providing training and employment for deaf and economically disadvantaged women. Assisi Garments also invests in the community by supporting various social projects, including a cancer hospital and an AIDS rehabilitation centre in South India.

Rather stiff material for yoga (merely a gimmicky sales technique), better for support for dancing & running. The pockets are at the side so are very unflattering, & uncomfortable when resting on one side in exercise or when brushing past things/ people etc. - who thought that was a good idea? They need to be at the front.
The sizing is small- probably a size & a half too small for UK standards - & slim fit too, I could hardly get them up my legs, but an inducement to tone up & lose weight I suppose, so I'll keep them & see how I go. Not a good pair of leggings for yoga beginners but for lithe slim-thighed pros.
