With a high wool content, the rug has a vibrancy and depth of colour along with a luxurious feel underfoot.
The producer is a member for the World Fair Trade Organisation, adhering to the ten principles of fair trade ensuring employees are paid a fair wage and work in safe, clean conditions.
The rug comes with a GoodWeave label which allows you to trace it back to the producer. GoodWeave work to end child labour in the rug making industry. To bear the GoodWeave label, producers must adhere to strict standards to ensure the welfare of their workers. A percentage of the value of each rug goes back to GoodWeave allowing the organisation to continue their valuable work.
