Using a traditional method, ghee is made by heating up butter in order to create 3 separate layers. Foam goes to the top, milk solids float to the bottom, and in between you get clarified butter. This clarified butter has a high smoking point of 250 degrees, which makes it ideal for frying. Use ghee to create tasty stir-fry or use it to deep fry and bake. You can even spread some onto bread to make a delicious sandwich that’s full in flavour.
