Q: I have had a similar pulley before in an earlier house and the wooden arms kept falling out of the cast iron holders so clothes and rails crashed down as I was pulling it up and down. Is this likely with this set?
Also we have a very high ceiling. Are the ropes long enough for any height?
A: Hi, the wood slats do sit loose in the metal holders, so depending upon how the airer is set up and loaded with washing, it could be possible that the wood will move, but not definite.
This Six Arms Clothes Dryer comes with height-adjusting pulleys and a long life polyester cord to suspend the airer from a ceiling height of 2.7m (9 feet).
