I use it instead white sugar for home baking. And my recent muffins filled with homemade custard had very caramel-ish taste. I think it was that sugar, my husband said they were much better than usual. This sugar also darken colour of baked goods.

Very good product, I have used it in baking and as I would sugar. I don't take sugar in tea or coffee so can't comment on its use there.
