I use coconut oil in cooking, feed it to my dogs (it gives them lustre to their coats) and put it in mine and my daughters hair after being recommended to do so by an Indian friend who said that in India coconut oil is regularly used in ladies hair. It is good, but use sparingly! My fine flyaway curly hair is shinier but not greasy.
