I bought these when my own crop failed. Great alternative to synthetic scrubbers and they go in the compost bin once they're dead.

this is a disappointment. It does indeed swell up when wet but swells into something so huge it won't fir in e.g. mugs or cups. Also it does not clean very well. won't be buying it again

I love these pads. They're tough, last a while and can be put in the compost when replaced.

Not bad at all. Works well on all cutlery and crokery. The only exception I would say is that it has struggled removing tea stains from the inside of cups. Plastic free though; that's why I bought it.
