Eco Beacon Bird Feeder

Although plastic, looks strong, easy to clean and big enough not to have to be filled too often. Looks good, too.

I haven't been able to find an effective dried mealworm feeder for ages. I find usual mealworm feeders no good as they tip all the worms when a large bird such as magpie perch. So I'm absolutely delighted to find this one which is just perfect for mealworms! It's well made and nice large size. Love the way the part of the roof slides open rather than the whole roof comes off. The roof is big enough to protect the feed inside and its all around perch allows several birds to feed comfortably at the same time. For less than a ten quid, this is a bargain! Highly recommended. Have just bought another!

Easy to fill and birds like it, but so do the squirrels who have nibbled off all the bird perch locations! I've never had that with other feeders. Nowhere for birds to access seed now, so I'll have to replace. Good if you can stop the squirrels getting to it.

Lovely little feeder for little birds! mine has been very popular! It gets a bit blocked up in the rain but is easy to clean!
