ReviewsA leaky start but now a convert! Bought Pingo instead of the British brand this time, hoping to wait for another promotion. The first handful of Pingo I used leaked quite frequently, I was on the verge of returning them, but decided to try and secure the waist a lot tighter... happy to report that it improved drastically. I have now used up a pack of 40, and comparing with my own experience with the Eco British brand, and other supermarket own brands (not eco-friendly ones), I feel Pingo is no more leakier than them. I'm also quite happy with the green credentials of the product, FSC certified cellulose, chlorine bleach free, breathable backing film from renewable resources etc... My little one has not suffered from any nappy rash either since changing to Pingo, I will happily be ordering more boxes.

Very effective nappies, no leaks.
These used to be good but after redesign are not that good any more( why fix something if not broken?) They were saggy very quickly, I switched to other eco brands. But luckily my little one was succesfully potty trained and we are done with nappies
I've been using Pingo nappies for the last half a year or so as I found them to be the best eco nappies I tried. However they seem to have recently updated they design - the print on the nappies is slightly different (which is cute), but the real problem is that every single one now leaves little gel crystals all over my baby's bottom! They're really hard to wipe off and get into all those thigh creases... not what you want when changing a nappy in the dark at 3am! They appear even if the nappy isn't particularly full. I presume they're not harmful to the baby? Definitely won't be reordering these again, which is a huge shame.
I swear by these nappies, having tried lots of others first. They rarely ever leak. At one point they did a lot during the night, but then I realised it was because he needed to go to the next size up - problem solved! Even though they're quite expensive they're more cost effective than most other packs I've found, and I'm happier knowing it helps the planet.
I ordered these because I wanted to do something good for our planet. Very good quality, I'd say as good as non eco leading brand. Even tried for a night and with a good result. Two leaks has happened so far but when compared to other eco brand, when there was a leak with every poo, these are just great. My husband was more sceptical as after a first nappy the bun of our litte one got red but it had nothing to do with the nappy but teething.
when my daughter was born we ordered a pack of all the Eco nappies available on the UK market. Pingo were by far the best we tried - not too bulky and soft moulding around baby's bum nicely. Leaks happen very rarely and usually when we've been sloppy changing the nappy. We've never had a nappy rash even during the heatwave so gentle on the bum as well.rnrnAnother plus is that Pingo doesn't have any garish pictures on the nappies, they are plain white which is nice when wearing light clothes. Other brands images have been visible through clothing and just look like dirt marks.
I've tried various "eco" nappy brands and these stand out by far. They are not too bulky, keep baby dry over night as well as other "12 hour dryness" brands, mostly contain poo (sometimes no nappy would meet the challenge) and have no nasty chemicals.
