These gorgeous recycled brass earrings are handmade in the UK with a recycled silver wire for comfort and their design represents a time of change and new beginnings. Inspired by finding this specimen on the way to her daughters school leaving day, Lisa Anne was reminded that like the seed, the child must be released and set upon new ground to find its way in the world.
The Long wing seed pods are created by mother nature to catch the wind and rotate when they fall, helping them to spread further from the parent tree.

I love these earrings but I’m lucky to still have them as they constantly fall out. I also bought another pair for a charity auction so I hope the person who won them still has them. I’ve tried bending the hook a little further but it’s only a matter of time before they snap. I think I’ll have to buy some new hooks. It’s such a shame as they’re very unusual earrings and really pretty.
