Product Description
Clearspring barley miso lets you create a wide variety of Japanese-inspired dishes in your very own kitchen. All ingredients used in this barley miso are organically sourced and certified by the Soil Association. Miso is used frequently across Japan; often a staple of the breakfast table as a nutritious soup. This paste can be used to make gravies, dips, spreads and goes well garnished on noodles, salads, meat, tofu and other meat alternatives. There are countless recipes to try out; making miso a handy thing to keep in stock in your kitchen. Barley miso is a great source of protein and fibre too, plus it's low in sugar.
This unpasteurised Barley Miso is matured for at least 12 months in cedarwood kegs. Ideal for general use, it has a lighter flavour than hatcho miso.
