Product Description

Keep meat and leftover ingredients fresher for longer with these handy biodegradable bags. d2W is a type of plastic designed specifically to decompose at an accelerated rate under normal landfill conditions. These food and freezer bags will take around 2 to 3 years to fully decompose once they’re placed in a landfill. Compare this to the lifespan of an average plastic bag, which can be upwards of 1000 years before being completely decomposed.

I have used d2w bin liners for years and now thought I would try these as well. I obviously did not pay enough attention to the sizing. If these are "medium" - the small must be the size of a postage stamp! Very limited as to what they can be used for, as they are so tiny.

Although I like that these are biodegradable I would prefer if there was a way to seal the bags

d2w - Degradable Plastics d2w makes products out of environmentally-responsible oxo-bio plastic which can be re-used and recycled. As well as this, they will degrade; meaning that when they are disposed off they will soon disappear leaving behind no fragments or trace of their existence.

Delivery

  • Standard UK Delivery - £4.95
    Delivered via Evri courier. UK orders will normally be received within 5 working days. Choose this option if you're not in a hurry to receive your order and we'll use the most efficient delivery method possible.
  • Express Delivery - £7.95 (Only available for UK delivery)
    Delivered via DPD courier, requires a signature upon delivery. Delivery next working day for orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri). This method will require a signature, please ensure somebody will be available to sign. You will also receive tracking alerts via SMS/email from DPD to keep you updated on your delivery.
  • On orders over £60.00 standard delivery is FREE and next day delivery is only £5.95
