Product Description
A special blend of fine black teas is combined with organic spices including cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and a touch of black pepper.
The result is a tea with an exotic aroma and a delicious flavour that is refreshing to drink.
According to the Indian system of health and philosophy known as ayurveda (‘science of a long life’ in Sanskrit), these spices can help with digestion. They are also said to have properties which help refresh the body and mind, bringing balance to the whole being.
Best brewed with freshly boiled water and left to infuse for 2 - 4 minutes. Add sugar or honey, and milk to individual taste or enjoy on its own as a deliciously different tea experience.
Try it iced or frothed with milk to make a delicious latte.

I felt I just had to share my love for this Chai Tea with you. I only discovered it a few years ago and instantly fell hook line and sinker. I have only tried a few spiced teas and not had the real thing in India unfortunately.
But this example seems to suit my palette perfectly. Spicy and warming and lovely in Autumn/Winter. Like Indian curries it seems to suit our climate here in temperate Blighty.
I like tea fairly strong and this seems to happily combine strength with a gorgeous aroma and be spicy enough but not overly overpowering.
The aroma always reminds me of Christmas spices and Mince pies which I adore and somehow seems homely and comforting to me.
So if you fancy trying something a little different but not too adventurous, that is good for you too then I would thoroughly recommend.
Infact I think I'm now a confirmed Chai addict.....I hope this has been helpful?!
PS - I would love to try Yak Butter tea too which the Nepalese drink in very large quantities.......
