Product Description

These non-scratch EcoCoconut scourers are well-suited for tackling tough stains of cookware, hobs, stove tops and other hard surfaces. Made in Sri Lanka, each scourer uses the coir of a coconuts wrapped around stainless steel wire to give it natural antibacterial properties. These antibacterial properties make it so EcoCoconut products have no need for toxic chemicals. Every scourer is free from chemical cleaners and plastics, which keeps them eco-friendly and biodegradable without compromising on their incredible cleaning power.

As another reviewer said, these are rather too large to wash dishes with and rigid. I tend to use mine to scrub mud off potatoes and it's good for this, although the bristles do tend to shed, so you have to look out for this.

I bought these for washing dishes, and although the non-scratch claims appear to be true, I found them unsuitable for this purpose as they are so huge, it's impossible to use them for items like cups and glasses. I actually found them quite difficult to hold as I have quite small hands. They have now been relegated to my garden shelves, to use for scouring large plant pots, for which I feel they will be perfect. And I'm pleased to notice the new product just appeared on the website - a "mini" coconut scourer - which hopefully will be a better size for dish-washing!
