After a few months the brush has got very soft and is losing a few bristles. It would be useful to have also a brush only option instead of having to replace the complete set.

Went into use straight away.
Well, I really wanted to like this. It did last a year or so. Bristles started falling off. It's hard to get the brush to dry out etc. the metal holder started rusting. None of this is surprising. Plastic does work well for toilet brushes and holders. Not a good solution though. I've bought a plastic one, and chucked this one out. So, I can't really recommend it.
