Ecover 15L Tap

Q: I recently purchased this tap with a 15L 'bag in a box' Ecover product. The instructions on the box itself show some large green discs being attached to the box first before the tap to hold the bag in place. Do you sell these? Do I need them? Have a look at one of the 15L washing-up liquid boxes and you will see what I mean..

A: Hi, thanks for getting in touch. I'm afraid that you aren't the first person who has brought this matter to our attention. The green disc which is illustrated on the product packaging is not actually utilised for the fitting of the tap. It is used to secure the product to an angled 'in-store' display / dispense unit which Ecover supply to retailers. The green disc pictured is supplied only with these units and is not available (or required) home use. I hope this helps. Robyn

Q: Will this tap fit other 15lt containers please?

A: Hi, this 15L tap is produced by Ecover and stocked by us for Ecover products only. We haven't tested it with other products, so it's not guaranteed to work with other 15L containers. Our experience is that 25L containers by different manufacturers each have their own unique fitting, so based on that information, we expect that this tap will only fit Ecover products. Q: Hi - does this fit the 5l bag in a box as there isn't a 15l washing liquid bag in a box? Many thanks Alison

A: Hi, the 5L bag-in-a-box from Ecover comes with a tap already in place, so you wont need to purchase an extra tap. I hope this helps. Robyn.
