Product Description

This organic young jackfruit from Essential Trading is a delicious, nutritious and natural meat alternative, perfect for creating a vegan meal. Full of free radical fighting anti-oxidants along with Vitamins A & C, it is also a good source of potassium, zinc and iron, with a high fibre content too.

This ethically sourced jackfruit is grown organically in Sri Lanka and the texture and appearance is similar to pulled pork when cooked.

Drain, rinse and tear apart the chunks of jackfruit then cook in a source. Delicious when added to pasta bakes, wraps, tacos, burritos and buns!
