My doctor advised me to switch to non-fluoride toothpaste for the sake of my thyroid. I tried another brand that tasted to me like used chewing gum after the flavour has gone. This one does have a good minty taste, though it comes with what I would describe as a bit of a herbal antiseptic-y flavour. However I have got used to it, and it seems to do a great job of cleaning my teeth. Now I just wish it wasn't packaged in plastic...
