Featuring a striking warning about the dangers of fascism alongside an adaptation of Claude Monet’s La Rue Montorgueil, this tea towel brings together art, history and political thought. Made from strong, unbleached organic cotton, it has a textured finish and neatly stitched edges on all four sides.
The design features the words, “Be careful. When a democracy is sick, fascism comes to its bedside, but it is not to inquire about its health.” The quotation is often attributed to Albert Camus, the French writer and philosopher known for his opposition to totalitarianism and fascism.
