Tropical wholefoods import tonnes of dried fruits and nuts from fair trade producers in developing countries. Workers grow and pick the produce in a progressive working environment that provides a good wage that can support them and their families. In their bakery in Sunderland UK, they blend these with other organic ingredients to make delicious snack bars.

Working with ethical businesses, they pay fair prices in advance and develop and market farmers' products. Purchases of Tropical Wholefoods products help farmers to invest in their villages, schools, livestock and land.
