The trick to being a morning person starts before you go to sleep. Make sure you turn off any electrical items – phones, iPads, TVs etc. – about an hour before you plan on going to sleep. The light emitted from devices can trick your mind into thinking it’s daytime, so it won’t be ready to go to sleep. Try reading before bed, make sure you’re relaxed maybe by doing a few stretches or deep breathing exercises. Having a regular bedtime is also a good idea to get your body used to a sleeping pattern which will help you get a good night’s rest.
